Appropriate Land


Not only to preserve the richness of the existing flora at the site, Bong also designs landscape aesthetics with beneficial herbs, in addition to buildings that follow the contours of the soil.




Energy Efficiency and Conservation



Bong solar cell mengutilisasi for systems used throughout the facility. To reduce electricity consumption, the Bong is designed by arranging sun shading , sloping walls, heat insulation above the ceiling, roof garden, and cross ventilation that creates a natural air conditioning system.



Water Conservation


Bong combines biology, sand filters, and ozoniser in a swimming pool that replicates natural water ecosystems, including fish and aquatic plants. The filter system integrated with the Sewage Treatment Plant allows the reuse of water from showers, faucets, and even flush toilets to flush the garden and refillflusher tanks.



Source & Material Cycle




Bong is built on a skeletal system, combining steel and wood which makes the transportation process more efficient than the main island of Bali to Nusa Lembongan. Using e-boards made of high-pressure processed sawdust and sawdust, and old newspapers converted into ceilings.



Air Quality & Indoor Air Comfort




Bong utilizes natural lighting with large windows facing the sea and cross-ventilation on the ceiling. No chemical element is used in the material.



Building Environment Management



The swimming pool at Bong is arguably the safest and most chemical-free in Bali thanks to the use of biological elements and sand filter systems. Organic waste goes to the composting facility used for garden and plant land. In addition to permaculture, Bong also has aquaponic and hydroponic facilities. Guests will not find plastic materials in kitchen equipment.
