Spatial aesthetics so well-orchestrated, culminate in the thrill of enjoying a complete comfort. Thus the strongest impression of the dwelling designed by architect Ginanjar Ramdhani from this GReATstudio.

The concept of modern architecture with a touch of industrial nuances of the underlying as well as the soul of the design of this house. In the facade, the impression of friendly looks highlighted with a raised roof terrace to enter the area of the house.

Aperture window is also maximized by considering the location of the occupation that faces north and south, which allows sunlight to break in freely for one full day. To get around the mass of buildings that are thick enough, then in areas where sunlight can not enter, namely the west side ( living and dining area) and the middle of the house (bedroom corridor), added with skylights .

In terms of division and spatial arrangement, the owner of the dwelling provides directions based on the provisions of feng shui. Nevertheless, about the application of architectural design, the owner entrusted entirely to Ginanjar. "The most fun in the process of designing this house was when I was confronted with feng shui restrictions, which actually triggered me to create an unusual design," the architect said. The result is a residential space capable of conducting dialogue between the inside and outside, also between the lower and upper floors.

Tracing the interior of this house, it is not difficult to find an element that attracts attention, which is nothing but a brick.

This material is not only an integral part of the design of the house, but also seems to be a common thread of the overall aesthetics of dwelling. "I want a strong and visually powerful character to reinforce the concept of a double-volume communal space , which is the core of the dwelling that connects the lower and upper spaces," Ginanjar said of his considerations for using bricks.

The steps that Ginanjar had implemented were brilliant. The fluorescent textures and colors of the brick walls are very sensitive in responding to natural or artificial light, thus providing an attractive shadow effect that enriches the visual space.

The warmth that spreads from the texture and color of the bricks also seemed to be balancing the architectural lines that seem cold. The interior aspect is also enlivened by the existence of a series of furniture; Cellini sofa, custom furniture , and some other furniture from Ikea.
